Christmas Dogs cross stitch pattern

This listing is to purchase the Christmas Dogs cross stitch pattern. This was previously released as a stitchalong, and the full pattern is now available. This is a really fun, cute and easy to stitch design celebrating both Dogs and Christmas!

This is one of a pair of matching patterns - the other is Christmas Cats. They can be stitched alone or as a pair. A discounted listing is available to buy both patterns.

The pattern is designed to be framed in a 10 inch hoop if you stitch on 14 count fabric, as shown in the pictures. The pattern booklet also includes an optional stitched circle around the piece, so that if you are stitching on a different count fabric or don’t want to mount it in a hoop, you can stitch the circle and then frame it in any other way.

The pattern uses only full cross stitches.

You will receive two 14-page pattern booklet PDFs, one with colour patterns and one with black & white patterns. The booklets contain:
• Image of the completed piece
• The full pattern on one page, for screen use
• The full pattern over four pages, for printing
• Close up single page patterns of every dog
• Instructions and thread key
You will also receive full cross stitch instructions.

The stitched area of the finished piece, allowing for the hoop, is:
140 stitches wide x 140 stitches high
On 14 count fabric this is approximately 10.0 x 10.0 inches or 25.4 x 25.4 cm
If you are stitching the ring around the final pattern in place of the hoop, the stitched area of the finished piece is 142 stitches wide x 142 stitches high.
Other count fabrics can be used - just adjust the sizing accordingly.

These dimensions do not include the border of fabric you will need to leave around the design. I recommend you leave a further 2-3 inches all the way round (which means that you need to add 4-6 inches to your size measurements).

You will need 23 DMC colours - less than 1 skein of each colour.

The pattern was model stitched on 14 count Zweigart Light Blue aida by Ellie Darman.

Suitable for all skill levels including beginner.

This listing is for PDFs of this pattern; it is not a completed piece nor a kit, so no fabric, thread or other materials are included. The charts are Instant Download so you can start stitching straight away!

A link to the downloads will be sent to the email address you give when you order. There will also be a link to download the files directly from the completed order page. The files are sent as PDFs in one zip file. Please unzip the file (right click > extract all) after downloading, and then you can open each PDF within the file.

You may need Adobe Reader to open the PDF files. If you don’t have it you can download it for free here: https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

Christmas Dogs

I love this little cross stitch. Beautifully explained and charted. One of the dogs reminds me of my little chap who left us this year, so I’ll have a big lump in my throat when I get to stitching him

Cute dogs stitchalong!

I found this stitchalong irresistible so added it to my list of things to do. I like that it will continue monthly and that the stitching will grow before Christmas and each stitching months work will not take the whole month to stitch
