Halloween Gnomes Stitchalong
This listing is to purchase the Halloween Gnomes Stitchalong! This is a cute, cheery, fun and easy stitchalong. It's ideal for anyone who wants to do a really manageable stitchalong or perhaps try a SAL for the first time, as well as for experienced stitchalong fans! Each month for four months you'll receive a new part of the pattern, as we get nearer to Halloween.
The pattern is designed to be framed in an 8 inch hoop if you stitch on 14 count fabric. The pattern can be stitched and framed in the same hoop, so it can easily be finished off and hung up quickly in time for Halloween. However, if you don’t have a hoop it’ll still look great in a frame, or stitched on different count aida.
The pattern uses full cross stitches and a small amount of backstitch.
This is a mystery stitchalong, so you won’t see the other pattern sections until they are revealed each month. The stitchalong runs for 4 months, from July to October 2022. After the 4 sections you will have built up a cute Halloween picture to hang up each year.
When you purchase the Stitchalong you will be emailed an introductory booklet with details of all the materials you will need. This is not an instant download, so please allow time for me to email it to you. The pattern sections will then be emailed to you on the following dates, at 9am UK time:
Part 1: 21st July 2022
Part 2: 21st August 2022
Part 3: 21st September 2022
Part 4: 21st October 2022
Emails will be sent to the email address on your order. If you want them to be sent to a different email address, please add a note to the order when purchasing. ***You will receive the patterns by email and not by physical mail***

The stitched area of the finished piece is: 102 stitches wide x 102 stitches high
On 14 count aida (or 28 count evenweave stitched over 2) this is approximately
7.3 x 7.3 inches or 18.5 x 18.5 cm
Other count fabrics can be used - just adjust the sizing accordingly.
These dimensions do not include the border of fabric you will need to leave around the design. I recommend you leave a further 2-3 inches all the way round (which means that you need to add 4-6 inches to your size measurements).
The pattern was model stitched on 14 count Permin Christmas Blue aida. You could also use any other blue or navy blue to give a night-time feel, or a patterned or hand-dyed fabric if you prefer a different look. Black or white fabric should be avoided as the design uses both black and white which then wouldn’t show up enough.
You will need 15 DMC colours - less than 1 skein of each colour.
Each month you will receive two pattern booklets, one with colour patterns and one with black & white patterns. The pattern booklets include split page and single page patterns, and an enlarged pattern of that month's section.
Skill level: Suitable for all skill levels including beginner.
Patterns are for personal use only.
