The stitched area of the finished piece (not including any fabric margin) is: 130 stitches wide x 137 stitches high
On 14 count fabric this is approximately 9.3 x 9.8 inches or 23.6 x 24.9 cm
On 16 count fabric this is approximately 8.1 x 8.6 inches or 20.6 x 21.7 cm
Other count fabrics can be used - just adjust the sizing accordingly.
The pattern was model stitched on white 14 count aida. 19 thread colours are used in the design. You will need one, or less than one, skein of each colour; the only exceptions are DMC 703 and 310, where the amount used is around one skein. Depending on how much thread you use when stitching, you may need to have two skeins each of DMC 703 and 310.
The pattern uses full cross stitches, backstitch, a few fractional stitches, and French knots in the text only.
Suitable for all skill levels, including beginner, though ideally not absolute beginner.
