This cross stitch pattern is based on the Family Portrait which is on a plaque on the Perseverance Rover, exploring Mars right now! It shows all the NASA rovers to have successfully landed on Mars. The colours could easily be changed to stitch it all in one colour of your choice, or to darker colours to stitch on paler fabric.

• Stitch count: 225 wide x 84 high
• Approximate size on 14 count aida: 16.1in wide x 6.0in high (40.8cm wide x 15.2cm high)
• 5 colours, DMC numbers given
• Uses full cross stitches, fractional cross stitches (in the wheels and circles on either side of the text only), backstitch and French knots; no fractional backstitch
• Stitch on black or dark fabric (image is shown on black fabric); or change the colours of the threads and stitch on lighter fabric
• Suitable for all skill levels including beginner
