Orangutan Alphabet - complete upper and lower case cross stitch font

Regular price £3.00 £0.00 Unit price per

This alphabet file contains complete upper and lower case alphabets (letters only) for this cross stitch font. Note that 'Orangutan' is just the name I've given the font - there are no orangutan pictures :-) The alphabet uses entirely full cross stitches - no fractional stitches or backstitches.

You will receive a five page PDF with colour patterns for 26 upper case letters, 26 lower case letters, and a blank grid to use for drafting words, along with another PDF of the same format but with black and white patterns. You will also receive a PDF of complete cross stitch instructions.

A thread key is included giving the colours used in the example picture, but you can of course stitch the letters in any colours you would like, as well as with or without the shadows.

The letters vary in size, but as a guide, these are the sizes of lower case 'a' and upper case 'A':

Lower case letter 'a':
• Stitch count: 12 wide x 11 high
• Approximate size on 14 count aida: 0.9in wide x 0.8in high (2.2cm wide x 2.0cm high)

Upper case letter 'A'
• Stitch count: 16 wide x 16 high
• Approximate size on 14 count aida: 1.1in wide x 1.1in high (2.9cm wide x 2.9cm high)

This listing is for PDFs of this pattern; it is not a completed piece nor a kit, so no fabric, thread or other materials are included. The charts are Instant Download so you can start stitching straight away!
