Ripples Hummingbird cross stitch kit

This cross stitch kit contains everything you need to stitch this Ripples Hummingbird. I combined the ideas of ripples on a pond and the rapid beats of a hummingbird's wings to form this pattern. The brighter colours of the multicoloured ripples start to fade away as they reach further out along the wings and tail, giving a sense of motion in a slightly ethereal hummingbird.

Full instructions are included, but the pattern is more advanced than most of my other kits so this would be suited to someone who's already done a bit of cross stitch.

The kit includes everything shown in the second and fourth photos (apart from the stitched piece!):
• 14 count 100% cotton Aida fabric
• Needle
• DMC cotton threads, pre-sorted and ready to use

• All contained in a labelled box which can be used to store the contents

The fabric is a generous size so that you can frame your work or turn it into a cushion or other piece. I've included 50% extra threads for each colour than the amount used on my stitched piece, so you shouldn't run out of thread!

Please note that as this kit contains a needle, it is not suitable for young children.

The stitched hummingbird pattern is approximately 6.7in wide x 4.7in high (17.1cm wide x 12.0 cm high).
