This listing is to purchase the Travel the World cross stitch pattern. This was previously released as a stitchalong, and the full pattern is now available. With this pattern you can tour the world in cross stitch by stitching a famous landmark in each continent, with two continents featured twice. Each image is detailed and accurate.

The pattern uses primarily full cross stitches, with a small amount of backstitch and French knots. Each small picture is 36 x 36 stitches square.

You will receive two 17-page pattern booklet PDFs, one with colour patterns and one with black & white patterns. The booklets contain:
• Image of the completed piece
• The full pattern on one page, for screen use
• The full pattern over four pages, for printing
• Close up single page patterns of every landmark
• Overall thread key and specific thread key for every landmark
• Brief description of the wonder of the world you are stitching
You will also receive full cross stitch instructions.

The stitched area of the finished piece (not including any fabric margin) is: 132 stitches wide x 154 stitches high
On 14 count fabric this is approximately 9.4 x 11.0 inches or 24.0 x 27.9 cm
On 16 count fabric this is approximately 8.3 x 9.6 inches or 21.0 x 24.4 cm
Other count fabrics can be used - just adjust the sizing accordingly.

The pattern would go well with most fabrics, so feel free to stitch it on whatever you would like best! If using a darker green you might want to change the colours of the gridlines to a different colour which would go better with your fabric. The model was stitched on 16 count ‘Woodland’ aida from Lakeside Needlecraft. You will need 60 DMC colours - less than 1 skein of each colour.

Skill level: Suitable for those with experience of cross stitch.

This listing is for PDFs of this pattern; it is not a completed piece nor a kit, so no fabric, thread or other materials are included. The charts are Instant Download so you can start stitching straight away!

The pattern is provided in both color and b&w, in small and exploded view. It is well-charted and interesting, so far. Can’t wait to see the patterns over the next several months.
