Nine Tartan Hearts cross stitch pattern
Cross stitch pattern of nine hearts filled with tartan patterns. These fun hearts can be stitched as one picture or stitched individually to make cards or small motifs. Each heart design is based on a particular tartan. The tartans featured are (left to right, top to bottom): Black Watch, Thomson Camel, MacQueen, Ramsay Blue, MacLeod, Fraser Hunting Ancient, Royal Stewart, Hamilton Grey, MacKenzie Modern.

• Approximate size on 14 count aida for whole piece: 7.2in wide x 7.1in high (18.3cm wide x 18.1cm high)
• Stitch count of larger hearts: 31 wide x 28 high
• Approximate size on 14 count aida for larger hearts: 2.2in wide x 2.0in high (5.6cm wide x 5.1cm high)
• 31 colours, DMC numbers given
• Uses full cross stitches and backstitch (around the outside of the hearts only); no fractional stitches
• Stitch on fabric of your colour choice (image is shown on pale green fabric)
• Skill level: Suitable for all skill levels including beginner, though not ideal for absolute beginner
